Hello again! And welcome back to part four of my series Side Hustling. This week we hear from Melissa who is going to tell us about her money making venture. It is a good one this!
Hi, My name is Melissa Bradbury and I run my personal finance website Mel’s Money Saving and Bargains, as well as a daily deals page of the same name. Here you will find deals, discounts and tips from all over the web.
I did what people usually do when they are looking to earn some extra cash and consulted twitter! At first, I wasn’t sure whether to trust what people were saying, so I thought I would read through some blogs of well-known influencers. I was really surprised that you could earn so much in your spare time and thought that I would give it a bash myself.
About 3-4 hours per week, sometimes longer during big events. The beauty is that I can pick and choose when I put the time in though, so it fits in just right with a busy person.
Now that I have done the initial sign ups its around £400 – £500 per month.
Winning £119 on free spins.
The biggest challenge has been taking in the whole process. There are new things to learn all the time with matched betting and it must be right so that you don’t lose anything.
I would say go for it! Take the time to read through everything carefully and get your head straight so that you know what you are doing as there is a lot of information.
I will just keep on doing it for as long as possible as it is a great way of earning some extra cash, equal to a part time job, but on your terms.
Yes! Every time I post a new one of these I get a renewed urge to go and make more money. Melissa has found a side hustle that works for her and she is making some serious money from it. Thank you, Melissa!
